    Default Solingen Fri Ko?

    I have a lovely 7 day set labeled "Solingen Fri-Ko"

    I've order some reference books, but for now I wondered if anyone could enlighten me about the background of this particular Solingen maker?

    I had one some time back, and yes I did find info on it...

    I will check my books later from home, but IIRC it was JMS / the "Mark" that found it for me.. He has even more info available so hopefully he will see this...

    BTW for what it is worth, they are rather nice shavers...

    Thanks--I hope to be more useful to others on this after some reference books I've ordered arrive.

    This 7 day set has some very nice razors, though several have pretty badly warped scales. I've not ever tried to remove and repair scales, but I think I'll hang on to these for future efforts at restoration.

    This trademark was used by Friedrich Kottenhoff from Gevelsberg, in the beginning of the 20th century.
