Ok, another way. Frodxin - Englishman, a German, Belgian ...
    Who? What do you think?

Sorry Alex, I can't assist either. 10 days is a great effort though.

Frodxin is Nixdorf spelled backwards which would point to
germany. Hope that doesn't set you on the wrong track.

I gave up researching after 2 hours. Only Frodxin I could come up with was the name of an online gamer. That razor is just beautiful. Every part of it has a curve, from the escutcheon plate to the blade to the scales. Wicked curves, like a Malay Kris knife. One of a kind and I envy you! Congratulations on your unique acquisition.

So...I think, I've found some interesting facts.
I hope, they're interesting for you.

I never thought, that it's possible. But:
As far as the ease of pronunciation is concerned, it is worth considering whether the foreign sound of the name might also work in favour of the company, as it was the case with the brand names Hutschenreuther or Nixdorf. These names sound so German that international customers readily associate them with German
    craftsmanship and high quality standards.
The latter, Nixdorf, even made a virtue out of necessity and ran an advertising campaign in the UK with the slogans
"Nixdorf spells frodxin backwards. Maybe that will help." or "An urgent appeal: Help us protect our good name."
Nixdorf - Bohemia, in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The Nixdorf cutlers, mostly ethnic Germans, exported knives all over Europe, as well as to America (before WWI, Nixdorf was the 3rd most important source of foreign knives sold in the US, following Sheffield and Solingen). Nixdorf knives are typically fancy, and typically German in workmanship.
(Since 1945 Nixdorf has been called Mikulasovice, now in the Czech Republic.)

And now about the razor. First letters T(?).R?
Is it possible, that it's really abbreviations?

P.S. And very interestingly to see when makers emulate or ...in competition with another.
    Nixdorf, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary.
    Joseph Rodgers, Sheffield.

    Came across this post today.
Could it be that the first letter is a I and not a T? Than it could read: I.R. Frodxin
Ignaz Rösler was the founder of the "Ignaz Röslersche Feinstahl- und Nürnbergerwaren- und Pfeifenkopffabrik"
in Nixdorf/Bohemia in 1811, the first cutlery company in Nixdorf.

Most likely, you're right. And thank you.
But about the first letter, it's a question.
Here the stamp in high resolution.
    Your opinions?

It certainly looks like a 'T' to me. I have seen references to other examples, and some of them have been definite about the T, some doubtful due to poor stamping, and this one (found on a Czech forum) hasn't even got a T:

Wish I could help more, but I gave up after four hours. I wish I knew why that online-gamer calls himself 'FrodXin' - maybe he is a Nixdorf, or maybe the term is some sort of slang?

    Regards,
    Neil

But if we compare the letters at the stamp,
the first letter looks like "I".
