Thread: shave ready?

Hi all, iv just ordered a Dovo Astrale 5/8, half hollow from theinvisibleedge.co.uk for my first razor, after researching the net and reading alot on here i summed up that this would be a nice start, because i wanted a nice razor first time and liked the look of it too. hope im right! i was wondering as it said shave ready, will it really be shave ready? anyone ordered a shave ready dovo from that site?

also do different brands of strops suit different brands of shavers? as il need to order one of those, which il do tmoro morning before work!

I got a TI Spartacus from Steve at The Invisible Edge and it was an outstanding job of honing. If you're in the UK Neil Miller is said to be a superlative strop maker. Here is his website.
