walks like a duck
So another razor showed up at the house today, and it came with the orig box. The box said 5/8 round point dd goldedge,it looked a little bigger than 5/8. And after putting the blade on the ruler it measured 6/8!! Do the folks at Dubl Duck measure their blades a diff way??? Or the 6/8 was in a random box that said 5/8. Anyway I perfer the larger steel!! thanks

Thanked: 3795Are you sure it's the original box? It's possible it got re-boxed years ago.

FWW, I have been hearing from some razor folks that I know that many of the DDs are made a little bit more than the nominal size so +1/16th isn't out of line.

How did you measure it ? Top of spine to edge is always larger than the actual size.
Measure from the hone wear to edge you will get a more accurate reading but yeah 1/8 is on the large side. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
