Wacker Razor Comparison
I was looking into purchasing a new Wacker. I know that they are well regarded on here and I spoke with John directly about them.
I was wondering if anybody had any experience with the "Red Head" listed on shavingshop. John said that the differences between the 1/1 hollow razors are mostly aesthetic. So, assuming there is no discernible difference between the "Red Head" and the "Jungmeister," I will purchase the "Red Head" at $30 cheaper.
Does anyone here have experience with either of these two razors and how they compare?

Thanked: 81I do not have either razor, but I do have a 8/8 Antik which looks to be the same blade as the Jungmeister but with additional decoration and nicer scales. In short, nothing that would effect the quality of the shave.
The Antik is a nice shaver. I was not disappointed.

Thanked: 2259I can't help, but when funds recoup a bit, another Wacker will be coming here to live!

I'm waiting for my funds to recoup as well.
I'm now considering the 1/4 hollow given the recent positive reviews I have seen from various people on here.

Wacker vs Wacker
I own the Jungmeister 7/8, I has been in my rotation for nearly a year. It is hands down my favorite shaver out of the ten that I own. I also own two other Wackers: a 6/8 All round and the Old Sheffield Wedge 70th anniversary edition Model # 4. If I were you, I'd get the Jungmeister. HOG
