Welcome to SRP. Thanks for the link but it is immaterial to me. I'm hooked on straight razor shaving.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

My first real straight is on its way to me. Bare bones "Best Quality" Dovo 6/8 from Vintage Blades. I'm looking forward to learning.
I've used disposable straights and I regularly shave with a DE and love it.

You can get the ones that take half a DE blade pretty cheap.

Holy Cow ! They split a hanging hair lengthwise like ten times.That was impressive.Like the previous posters,I believe it'll never materialize in production.
