Thanked: 0grandpa's old razors
I have two of my grandfather's old straight razors...
one is a J.A.Henckels.Twin Works Solingen,Germany
Twins logo on other side of blade--yellow handle with metal
decoration on both end of handle
second razor is a Peter J Michels Brooklyn N.Y Made in Germany (Bell
w/arrow logo)
Tru-Edge logo on other side of blade--looks like a mother of pearl or tortoise shell yellow blade handle with a green colored Tru-Edge logo
on a red back ground, green edged sign;green and red colored metal end decorations...
Both razors are in an old black leather three sectioned holder, with strap.
Also have his Andis Elec.Clippers, made by the Adis Clipper Co. Racine Wis.Last patent date noted on body of clipper is 4-21-26.
All of these items are contained in his original vintage brown leather carrying case, with straps and buckles.
First time posting, so I'm not quite sure what else to include.....
Let me know if you need any additional info....
Thanks ....have a good one...

Thanked: 36Yeah, if there is any chance of getting some better quality photos up that would be great. Perhaps more light, and sit the camera on something to eliminate wobble.
Congrats on that, so cool. Wish I could be my hands on my grandads razors. Send them away, get them honed up and use em.
Well done
