Thanked: 2I think I'll jump in on the begging for information. I just picked one up from a local antique shop with the same stamp. Came in a black little box that says germany and Price $3.00. How old could plastic scales be? Seems like it could shave, but that'll have to wait for the test.

I have had a razor sold by the Manhattan Razor Co. for several years and haven't been able to find any info on it at all. I assumed (and you know where that can lead) that because there was no country of origin stamped on the tang it must be American made or imported into this country before the McKinley Tariff Act of 1890. Perhaps it was made by one of the U.S. companies and just marketed by the Manhattan Razor Co. (Hey, what happened to the shoulder shrugging smiley?) Anyhow, it is a good shaver.
