Thanked: 14Anyone recognize these scales?
I've searched all over the internet, but cannot find these scales on a Boker. I figure it must have been rescaled at some time.
I'm hoping that someone here can recognize them. The checkering is nice and deep. Not sure of the material, some sort of composite I guess.
Thanks for any help.

Thanked: 13245Look at the pins closely under magnification
Compare the wedge pin to the pivot pin that is the first giveaway to a re-scale...
Check the fit and function of the scales to the razor that is the next clue..
As to that type of scale, Yes I have seen them on Bokers before... (that doesn't mean it is not a re-scale)

This is natural Boker handle, hard rubber or celluloid.
But possibly, the razor was re-scaled.Alex Ts.

Boker scales
I recently owned this one -- it didn't appear to have been altered.
