    Default Removing moisture with Chalk

In this video Dovo shows the razor being placed into chalk in order to remove all moisture. I was wondering if anyone else does this. Also does anyone think it would be a good practice when one uses a razor instead of all the other means spoken about.

Unless you plan on having a big bin of chalk laying around to keep the razors in I don't see that it would be any better. The chalk is just to remove moisture during the processing of the razor it's not going to do any good when your blades are sitting in storage, unless they're surrounded by the chalk. Still you could try it buy personally I just think it'd be more trouble than it's actually worth.

Are you talking about removing moisture as in rinsing off a razor from daily use? I just use my blow drier.

I've never thought of chalk as a moisture remover. Yes it's porous but it tends to get gummy when wet and most chalk sold these days has all kinds of other junk mixed in. I think there are better choices out there.
