Thread: Wade & Butcher Blank for Concaving

That is interesting. In my limited time at looking at razors, I've never seen one of those.

I've never seen one of those either. Interesting piece. I wish there was more documentation on the old razors.

Old thread but I found one it's my step dads w&b with the same stamp in the blade looks wider than 5/8 but didn't have access to a measuring device.so I guess nobody found any thing out since 2010.at least we know they made more than one.

I think we sometimes read to much into things. My guess and it's only a guess is in their production process the made the razors and ground them and then put them into storage stock and as needed finished them off. Maybe the sold some if their inventory got too large or maybe from time to time some of these just got out one way or another or maybe the company changed hands and they sold off old stock.

I have a W&B Blank for Concaving - Not a pretty razor, but I here it is. I have no information on the razor at all. Sorry.
