    Default good for a beginner?

I just bought a giardo solingen razor. Has anyone had any experience with these? On the description it stated high carbon professionally honed. Are they decent? Thanks in advance!

Oh, thank you. Well I ordered it yesterday so I haven't gotten it yet but here's the url Solingen Black Handled Straight Razor and thank you for the quick reply sir. I just got worried about the puchase because I heard some rumor that pakistani blades are being sold as solingen made blades and I haven't heard of giardo before so...

Seing that its a new razor with bad picture worryes me a little
Also nowhere in that ad does it say professionaly honed.
It says hand honed in germany, wich is the same as saying factory edge

Now i would suggest getting out of that deal if you can, as i notice that the Dovos on that site seem a bit overpriced

Being weekend you got a little extra time,
but if you dont get a good word on that razor come opening time i suggest looking for a better deal

Almost all good new blades cost more then the basic Dovo model so next time you find a deal please ask a day earlyer

Ok, thank you much. I had a bad feeling right after placing the order, ha. Hopefully Excalibur has a forgiving return policy. Again, thank you sir.

my guess is that it hasnt been shipped yet so its not really a return

Oh and im advising against this out of instinct not actual knowledge about the item in question
