Thread: Candidius

Hi people

Some time ago I scored this 7/8" spike-point fellow here:

This link Candidius leads me to believe it is a Dutch straight razor. However, box & tang mentions "Solingen" so I suppose it was made in Solingen for a Dutch brand.

Does anyone have more info about this razor/brand ??
What do you think, worth to put in the SR database ??

I'm also very curious what the story behind this brand is.

Perhaps if we can get various Candidius owners to post pictures of their prized Candidius razors, eventually someone might post some information.
