Any thoughts on the quality of Duprex straights?

The Durham Duplex razors constantly come up on eBay. Nobody wants them so don't pay more than a couple of bucks for one. It is unlikely that you will be able to find genuine Duplex razors, but carpet razors from the hardware store will fit in them.

No, Duprex. The blade is stamped "Rasoir Duprex." I haven't been able to find anything about this brand on the internet. On the reverse side stamped "Made in Germany."
