Thread: LE PHARE-M.CHANUDET razor

Are you sure of the spelling of the makers name? It would be useful to see a clear close-up of both sides of the tang, just to establish that the razor was not a made-for-expert solingen razor with an agents name on the tang - if that is the case than M. Chanudet could have simply owned a gents shop of some description.

"Le Phare" doesn't help with searching as it simply means Lighthouse. The name Chanudet is not listed or mentioned anywhere in the french razor club, either.

I don't have more pics, that's all the info i have, i am contemplating the possibility of purchase it, and i couldn't find any info online. Thanks for your help.
