Default Suggestions for where to send vintage razors for restoration

    Hey guys,

Noob here on the forums and started with the wikipedia page. Notice that one of the suggestions is to start with a vintage razor and have it restored/hone from a reputable servicer.

There's tons of vintage razors on ebay but none of them look shave ready. So i'm wondering if there's a go to guy on these forums for restoration of vintage razors and shave ready honing.

    - Thanks

As Stubear says, there are other routes that can be more useful. Buying a vintage is OK if you know what you're looking at but then the cost of the restoration has to be factored in, can get pricey. If you're set on vintage, for a first one, get one where the work's already done.

I think the suggestion was to buy a shave ready vintage razor, not buy an unknown vintage and sending it out for restoration.

Hi - thanks for the kind remarks! Your razors are on the way back to you, BTW.
