Beat me to it, but when this was a yahoo forum some years back, I picked up a TI from them. (Price was ALOT less back then.) Recently had it honed by Lynn and IMO, it's a wonderful blade.

hey i thought they went bankrupt to make the way for bailing out everybody else
as far as i know they are just TI. at one point their prices were a bit outdated but i think they've corrected that.

From the Lehman's website:
I think TI claims "lead hardening", and I haven't seen any other maker that does.After being hand forged, each blade is plunged into boiling lead, then quenched in water and sharpened. Blades stay sharp longer and will last a lifetime. Made in France.
Now, "boiling lead" tells me that somebody doesn't know anything about metallurgy. "Melted lead" I could believe.

Yes, Lead tempering/hardening is a TI thing. They were the only
