Default Filarmonica #13 is this razor worth the purchase?

Hey everyone, I received a second chance offer on this #13. Based on the pictures...can you guys guess whether or not it could be made shave ready? Is it worth the $76?

STRAIGHT RAZOR FILARMONICA DOBLE TEMPLE #13 - eBay (item 120646643832 end time Nov-13-10 11:06:47 PST)

    Item #: 120646643832

What do you guys think? I'm trying to find out why it is up for a second chance offer.

Close to a 100 dollars shipped and you the pics are not very good. Too much of a gamble for me so know.

I wouldn't. The razor looks alright except it looks like pitting near the edge. I'm sure it'll hone out, but it'll still be an ugly looking razor, and I don't think it's worth that much even if she is a great shaver.

On the other hand, this may be your only shot at getting a Filly for anything near this price. If you don't like the way it looks, skip it. If you don't mind the way it looks, or even appreciate its "weathered" appearance, and you mostly care about its functionality and the fact that it is a Filly, then go for it.

Only concern is pitting near the bevel as Dylan said. As someone who has taken similar risks (buying rough looking hollow-ish blades), I'd recommend you don't buy this. If there is pitting near the edge on a hollower blade, it's gonna be a real pain to get rid of without making the razor disappear
