Thanked: 235Have you ever seen one of these?
I had a day off work today so I decided to get to one of the razors in my 'I'll get to it one day box'.
It is a frame back with a removeable blade. There is a small worm screw at the toe of the frame part. The stamp on the tang on one side says .eroux cognet and under that it says ..aranti
On the other side of the tang is says Depose.
Now that I have gone this far I need to decide if I keep going with it, or put it back in the 'I'll get to it one day' box.

Thanked: 235By the way, the close up photos were taken with my new Chinese USB microscope. It is supposed to be 20 to 400 magnification, but these photos are as close as it gets. A little disappointing but looks like it will be good for taking close in photos of stamps and such.

I've never seen that particular brand, but my experience with French frambeacks (a TI and a Jacques LeCoultre--Technically Swiss but still, Frenchy) has been very positive. I like the looks of that one, too...I say go on with it!

"Peroux - Cognet" from Thiers
