What were all the etchings that Imperial had?
I have a few Imperial Warrentied razors...etched with, improved eagle, statue of liberty and Extra Hollow Ground etchings. Is there a source that shows all of their etchings, etc? Just curious.

It would be intersting to know. Last Saturday I got an Imperial "Extra Hollow Ground" on the blade along with FULLY WARRANTED under it. Font (typeface or style) on the blade reminded me of something from "Harry Potter" series. Pretty much a new razor, in the original box makred $3.00. Verry shiny, and never honed. No discernable hone marks and it it needed it before shaving, which was GREAT!

I've never seen Imperial catalog of etching.
But this picture may be helpful.

I'm sure it would be successful if you ever decided to do so! You're the go-to guy for razor history

A few pictures of the Imperial "Extra Hollow Ground" razor I got for a little wine...although, a VERY good wine. *S*
The first one turned out kind of blue hint. I had the wrong setting on the camera for white balance....
This one REALLY shows the blade inscription.
When I got it, the metal was shiny like my new DOVO or Revisor. It has jimps on the bottom which I like. I could not see that there was any honing marks at all on the spine. I taped the spine and honed it through the C12K, stropped it and had 2 excellent shaves with it.
