Sheffield’s Best Silver Steel razor
A new acquisition I get to try out in the AM.. Hey I’m no camera pro by any stretch of the imagination. This lovely razor comes with a very positive safety catch that keeps the blade locked in the closed position. The handles are plastic with BREVETE stamped on one end.
Light etching on the blade say’s Sheffield’s Best Silver Steel, with jimps on top and bottom. It took Grand Master Sham 10hrs to get an edge on this puppy. Some kind of Celtic voodoo steel. I don’t know what the green stone is, maybe slate? It’s very hard and glassy after lapping. It’s a pretty, pretty. Enjoy.

I have a Torrey with the same safety catch on the scales. It says it's patented.
Nice razor you have there. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
