Thanked: 4Thanks for the feedback guys.
I have four razors at this point. I think the thickest is probably a 1/2 hollow. The thinest is probably a covered tang Henkles that is really thin.
I can shave with all of them but I seem to prefer the 1/2 hollow at the current point. I like the additional weight and I seem to believe that it has more inertia and shaves smoother than the others... probably all in my mind. I also like that the end of that razor is rounded.
I've been focusing on that razor for a couple of weeks now and am enjoying it. My shaving has improved quite a bit in the last three or four weeks and is getting easier and faster. I also am happy doing cold shaves without hot water and I think the main reason is that it is faster and simpler and I really don't think I see any worse results than using hot water before shaving.

You may already have heard as much as you want, but...
Ed,
I didn't check to see what location you're in, but I'd encourage you to check for local members that might let you try some of their stuff. You can reciprocate by letting them try your stuff. I recommend this, 'cause it's a PITA to have to buy one of everything, only to learn you really only like 10% of what you've bought & have the joy of selling the rest.
I've let guys try my stuff. I've gotten to try soaps he subsequently got (found a fav that way). If you were around Portland, OR I'd gladly have you over.
