Thread: Another bad cut not me the razor

A little history on my shaving stuff. Ive got 10 or 15 razors a few strops a barbers hone a few brushed and a couple soaps. Maybe 125$ tied up in this whole collection so im not really dealing with top quality stuff. I cant tell how sharp a razor really is regardless of what test i use. I can tell if its sharp of if it isnt. Ive never had a honed razor so ive got nothing to compare it to. The razor i use the most came out of a drawer. I stropped and used. Im happy so far with my shaves with the exception of this razor. This is the third time ive used it and the third cut ive had. This one is the worse. It is a smaller blade than I normally use. Blade looks good and it seems to be sharp as can be. Razor has been used alot and has spin wear. Any ideas why I cant shave with it? Its a henckels "gloria" 4/8"
