Picked this up last night. Can 1770 to 1795 be right for this thing? That's what Lummus says, but it looks like too much tail for that age.

The top link I would be comfortable saying pre 1800, the bottom link is post 1800 in my eyes.

Shoulder plus that style tail didn't show in documents tell after 1800. I'm sure others will confirm this.
