The eBay store that I bought this one from has several of them listed any where from $40.00-$160.00+/-:

WW2 GERMAN ANTIQUE MEDICAL SURGICAL RAZOR – AESCULAP - eBay (item 290371998340 end time Dec-14-10 08:01:38 PST)

From what I can tell, my razor isn't stamped with anything...

That is a nice catch. Does it have any stamps or markings in the tang?

It is a Wapienica. These if I recall were made from Swedish surgical steel, in Poland. Wapienica is a town in Poland. Sometimes they have 'SFK' on the tang, sometimes not. I have both varieties. Excellent shavers. 1/4 hollow.

I remember 2 years ago when I first bought mine from The Invisible Edge, shave ready of course; and was weary of it due to its cheap price. I did some research and read that these were capable of outshaving razors 10 times their price. Now I fully appreciate that price and quality often have no correlation, but back then as a noob I felt fully insured! They certainly can.

I rescaled mine in Dovo bocote scales. Solves the balance problem nicely.
