    Default Boker vs Dovo Hollow

I was in a knife store today, and noticed that the new (non-vintage) Boker King Cutter and stainless they had were more hollow ground than the Dovo Best Quality they had, and the Dovo Special I had at home. About like 3/4 versus full hollow ground IMO.

Is this typical of the Bokers ? If so, how does the Boker King Cutter's degree of hollow-ness compare to Dovo's "Extra Hollow" (Prima Klang) ?

Anyone have a Prima Klang, and non-vintage Boker that they can line up and snap a comparison picture of the grinds side-by-side ?

    Thanks.

    Default Comparison

Anyone out there used both a Prima Klang and a King Cutter ? How do they compare ? Does one flex more when shaving and help get difficult areas smoother than the other ?

    Thanks.

I'd like to know about the Prima Klang as well.

I had one of the new production King Cutters for a couple months. It was a terrific shaver however a little too small and lightweight for my liking. I persoanlly have found I prefer the larger blades.

I haven't personally used a Prima Klang myself but I have talked with a number of people that regard it as arguably Dovo's best new production razor.

    Cheers,

    Josh
