Thread: Double Arrow is back?

Gentlemen.

A year or two ago the 'Double Arrow' seemed to be getting a fair workout through custom razor alterers and tightwads looking for a cheap blade.. then they disappeared. I just saw a whole bunch of them listed on Australian EBAY. They look a lot like the 'Gool Dollar' going around.
I searched but didn't see a thread sooo.. Anybody know what they're like? Are they related to the original or are they just a piece of kaka?

I like sheffield steel myself but it doesn't hurt to know.

In my opinion and experience, the originals were pretty "kaka" themselves... the Gold Dollars definitely are as well.

I live in China and I own a couple different Chinese razors and I can tell you they are rubbish . I use them to learn how to hone and strop , cut veg etc. they shave nothing like my TI's or my beloved Double duck.

I don't think they ever really vanished. Like everything else that is the flavor of the month after the hype is gone people realize their true nature and interest dies.
