    Default Frame Back

Probably a naive question but is a Wade & Butcher Frame Back a wedge type blade or a hollow type ?

Framebacks are something else entirely. The blades are wedgelike, but thinner all along than a normal wedge would be. There is a profile shot in the grind chart in the wiki: http://straightrazorpalace.com/srpwi...ths_and_grinds

Frameback razors are a relatively thin metal blade held in place by a frame down the spine. Not a wedge and definitely not a hollow grind. Give the site a search and you may find some posts with pictures. Some framebacks even have replaceable blades.
