I feel that way about Vulfix buying Simpson, moving the manufacturing out of Somerset to the Isle of Man. OTOH, I hear the current crop of Simpson labeled brushes are the equal of the Somerset production.

Great.... I thought I'd settled on a Le Canadien for a potential first TI purchase, now these come along! Decisions, decisions

Just bought TI 11/16 CrownSilverWing #50 from 1barber - Produits de rasage pour hommes.
Will it be inappropriate to ask here what people normally do with Limited Edition razors: use it or keep in a box just as a collector item?
    Cheers.

Yep, I have one too and it's part of my normal rotation.

I have #293 and it sees regular use as do my other TI Ltd Editions. It is only through honest use that one can truly appreciate such a fine blade.

Arrived in 3 days from Belgium to New York.
Question: after drying it out with toilet paper and then on open air for overnight, do I put it back in a box or do something else? Keep box just as decoration?
    Cheers.
