    Default Need Help Identifying

A few months ago, when I decided to use a straight razor for the first time, I bought a used razor based on what I think is a Wusthof trident. Unfortunately, there is a small nick in the blade. So, my questions are, can anyone identify this and do you think it's worth having it restored? If so, can anyone make a recommendation as to who can do the work?

    Thanks in advance!

    Nice blade.
The blade was made by Eduard Wüsthof, Solingen.
The company was in business since 1814. Registered 22nd December 1884.
It's not a problem to restore this blade.
    The razor was re-scaled. IMO.

Can you get a picture of the nick, or paint over the top of a picture a representation of where the nick is at?

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

It's a little hard to see, but hopefully you can see what I'm talking about.
