    Default Biddle Hardware Co. ?

Anyone familiar with this Straight Razor? It has BARBERS CHOICE, Biddle hardware Co., and made in Germany on the tang. I did a search online and didn't come up with much.

    Default Biddle Hwd

Acording to GOINS' the company was located on Commece st, Philadelphia and existed 1837-1920. Abt 1920 it became Supplee-Biddle Hardward co.
They, of course, were wholesale/retail and they did not make any knives or razors.

    Default Biddle

Be careful, I got the bug when I received my grandfather's two straight razors, now I have hundreds. It is addictive.

That's really cool that you know it's an old family blade.

Yes it is. Even cooler is I remember the old fart sitting in the back yard on his lawn chair chewing Redman with tobaco stains on his shirts, and giving me quarters & 50 cent pieces when I visited. Good memories!
