Thanked: 0BULLDOG?
I recently picked up an old straight razor from an antique store, a real project razor that would take some elbow grease to get back to glory. I am not familiar with the brand "BULLDOG" and haven't found much in my research. If you know anything, I'd love to hear it.
Photos:
The razor in question
152 BULLDOG FULLY WARRANTED
Some pretty heavy pitting
SILVERSTEEL WARRANTED
It's everywhere!
Some discoloration in the wedge.
Found this ripped piece of paper wadded up in the sleeve - no clues here
Can anyone here give me some insight on this? I'm at a loss. Thanks for any info.

Thanked: 3795Unfortunately the only bulldogs I've seen were at Yale and at Lynn's house.
After cleaning up the razor, you may have to do some extensive bevel setting in order to get to good steel.
(I tried to upload a photo of one of Lynn's dogs but it failed to load.)
