K.H.S. No 32
A friend of mine knew about my new obsession and called me while out antiquing with his wife. He sent me a pic of this razor and asked if I was interested. It looked good on the cheap phone cam and the price was $20. Why not?
So I got this little beauty. It says "K.H.S. No 32" on one side, and "K.H. Stephan & Sons, WORCESTER MASS., Made in Germany" on the other. The blade is 6/8 and looks a little heavier than my full hollow Dovo. It has very slight patina near the spine on one side and is otherwise very clean. I think it just needs a little blitz cloth and a good honing.
Anybody ever heard of this manufacturer? I can't find much about them in my searching other than that they were listed in a Worcester Directory at some point.
In the same purchase I got a Henckels that looked as good in the small picture, but has a lot of grind marks on it. May be worth saving some day, but is beyond my skill set at this point.

It looks well worth $20 to me. Very little patina it should clean up fairly easy. Hone wear is minimum, scales are nice even has silver bolsters. Heck if you dont want it I'll take it

Thanks, Brando. I'm not really interested in letting it go at this point. For $20 I'm really looking forward to putting good edge on it and seeing how it shaves.
The Henckels 70, on the other hand...

It's not a manufacturer just a retailer. The blade was made in Germany for them by someone else.
