custom Knife makers do fantastic work with acid etching on blade surfaces.

On one of the forums, I don't recall which, I saw a seven day set of Hart razors with the days of the week on the spine. I don't remember if the process was mentioned or if the engraver was identified, but it may have been the linked vendor, who I understand is no longer in business.

Anyway, it appears it can be done.

It can be done and has been done, look for a razor that belongs to a member Ookla or something like that. I think Tim/oldblades did that.
