Non XLL razor
Found this guy in a antique shop for $8. Figured it was cheap enough for me to use as a project. Want to polish it up and build a set of scales for it. I cant make out where it was made till i remove some of the gunk. Any one have one of these?

If the scales are not cracked, I would seriously think about keeping them. Hard to tell for sure in such a tiny picture, but the scales look like they could possibly be mother of pearl.

Thanked: 1263This is one time I'll agree with the gentlemen above. Normally I like to rescale all of my razors to have them custom the way I like But those scales if not damaged..well, I'd leave well enough alone..they're beautiful.

Ok bad news and more bad news. The scales were bad, broken in several places and missing huge chunks out of it. I can load larger pics later.
It trying to clean up the bad I broke it. I know, dumb mistake. I was trying to clean it up with a dremel and a brush, and the brush grabs the edge and cracked the metal. I am really really kicking myself. Errrrrr, at least it was 8 dollars, could have been a great find if I hadnt broke it.
