Flea Market SCORE!!!
I was just at the Oshawa Flea Market on Taunton Rd and found these two Razors. #1: a "Infallible" J.Curley & Brother in its original box. #2 a "Our Own" H.Boker & Co also in a Boker Box. I Payed $20 for each of them.

so from what i can tell the J.Curley & Brother would date between 1864-1921. This is a huge Gap that this razor could have been made. Anyone have more info about this razor? It does have the street address marked on the tang 134 &136 Nassau st New York.

Ive been trying to find more info on this razor and came across a old add in the American Agriculturist, Volume 38.
Here is what it said:
No 33 Shaving Set This consists of pair of fine Steel Razors made by Joseph Rodgers Sons Sheffield England packed in a leather case one Goldschmldt's Razor Strops and a Shaving Brush J CURLEY & BRO 134 and 136 Nassau St NT $5.50 for the set Only 7 subscriptions at $1.60 each secure this or we will send the set for $5.50 Sent mail post paid hi either case.
So i think im getting closer to dating this one.

Cleaned up the razor. Made some new scales. Honed it up and im going to give her a test run tonight.

Cleaned up the razor. Change the scales from the plain blace to this. Honed up to be one of my better shavers.
