Thanked: 1262Sorry. We do not do appraisals. But nice job cleaning up that boker. They are good razors.

it's worth putting in scales, honing up and using it.

nice boker
I think that it's safe to say that's a very fine-looking blade. Not without value, let us say. I think there are plenty of members who would look upon that blade, well, covetingly.
Don't get hung up on hanging hairs.

Thanked: 7
This was before I cleaned it up....
So I have been floating here for quite sometime.. almost a year now.. been using the same two razors I bought then.. baurer... it sucks... awesome when I got it though..... Then I bought A genco... which has been my bread and butter....
Then I had a little bit of razor acquisition problem..... I bought two more Wade and butchers which ManiaMan restored.... they look great I'll post pictures once I get them back from him...
But problem was that I bought some Carbon Fiber to use for scales... and none of the razors I bought were worth putting new scales on...
So... again I went through some bad ebay and I now have like 8 razors all in poor condition, and I really cant afford to restore them all... this was my first stab at it.
From the picture you can see it was not in bad shape, however what you cant see is that the scales while looking like they are awesome.. actually suck... someone put two different size scales together at some point with this blade the wedge just twisted... so I just broke them off as they seemed pretty useless... and just kinda worked on the blade with some 1500 grit paper.. then some polishing compound and I worked that for a long time... then vice gripped it and took a super old tee shirt that was super soft and buffed the hell outa it.
anyways.... I blabber a lot sorry.
So I spent, $35 on the blade... 15 on restoring stuff... but ill use that on other blade too so I really can't count it...
Did I rip myself off with this blade, or is it worth more?
I'm not looking for you to tell me what to sell if for.. I won't as I really like this blade just seeing if I'm an idiot
