I won an auction of a razor I had wanted (finally didn't get sniped). The razor is essentially a never before used Gottlieb Hammesfahr in the original box. (it won't arrive until Friday, I'll post some pics)

I read a little bit of history on the brand and a little in Goins but I'm more concerned with how they shave. Does anyone have one? Is it average or superior? I've seen Grizzly has a few posts where he raves about them but other than that I haven't seen much else as to their quality. Any insight would help, thanks guys!
