Thread: Gillette dating question?

Gentlemen, specifically DE pro's, I have a few questions regarding a new de.
Sorry for no picture but I picked up an old Gillette today from an antique shop and I cannot seem to get an accurate dating on it. I am strictly going by other websites that have Gillette's info on them. It's an old open comb gold de that is a 3 piece "2 ring, slim" handle. It has 2 patent numbers as well as a reissue patent number but has no serial numbers or date codes anywhere.??? Anyone have a clue on this? According to a picture on another site, they claim this is a '30's piece, but Gillette's dating system says otherwise... Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Jeremy-

Well, after a little more searching it seems to be from the 30's and is gold plated.
