    Default Ebay Razor Question

    Hi guys picked up what I think was a real bargain off ebay its a vintage razor the guy I brought it off has cleaned it up and it looks to be in excellent shape he said it was not shave ready and would need honing I tried it on my arm an it cut hairs better than my dovo question is if its cutting hairs this easily how much honing do you think I will need to do I brought this as a razor to practice on before touching my main razor.

    If it's better than your Dovo then disinfect it, strop it and take it out for a spin. Better to say not shave ready than to say it is if your not sure. Makes me crazy when they say it's sharp (duh it's a razor)
    Mine you my razors start cutting arm hair off a 2000grit.

    The only true test is to take it for a shave and decide for yourself if it needs to be honed or is fine as it is. Any other test is just a gauge to tell you if you should try it on your face. Good luck!
