    Default Otto Fromm #50 RedHead razor. Anyone have history on it?

    I have a Fromm #50 Red Head straight razor and I was wondering if anoyone had info on this blade? Whats the year? Is it an antique? I was thinking of using it to practice honing/stropping. Am I crazy to use this for practice? I'd love a bit of history on it if anyone has it

    If it's the one I saw on eBay that closed Sunday, I wouldn't use it for practice. It looked too nice for that.
    I strop my razor with my eyes closed.

    I didn't purchase it from ebay. It was given to me by a customer about 8 years ago and it was just sitting on display at my shop.

    Thanks for the responses, I am not sure how to upload a photo, but if you google Fromm 50 Red Head Razor it will show up. Its a yellow razor just like the photo and is in excellent condition. Let me know if anyone has more info.
