Thanked: 0Help with vintage razor info
Hey guys, i hav a few vintage razors that i have picked up from various places (antique shops and friends) and i was hoping that someone here can give me more information on them, like quality, age, value, and how rare.
i have started collecting them, and these are just two of the 5 that i have
and also, here is the information that i have
the first is a JR Torrey Razor, the blade says full double concave on it
the second is a diamondine, that is all i know on either one of them
the boxes pictured are for these razores, the red for the torrey and the other one for the diamondine

Thanked: 0value isnt really that important to me, i am more interested in age and quality, especially since i got the torrey for free, and the diamondine for like 10 or so if i remember correctly
also, do you know the quality of either by brand name?

Thanked: 275Torrey and Diamondine are both "known-good" brands. No problem there. You'll get lots of hits on this site with a "Search" on the Forums.

Torreys that I own are among some of the best shaving razors I have, I've got a Torrey Wedge that I'm waiting to get back from a total restore by Ernie, hope to have it back next week some time. Here is a link to Torrey Razors,,,,,,,,

This Diamondine is similar to yours but I think its a heavier grind than yours, hope you get some answers to what your looking for.
