    Default two new finds

Found these today at an antique store. They mark the smallest and largest I have found to date.

The small one is a Boker about 3/8 and the larger is a Puritan, New england razor co, a little over 6/8.

I cleaned them up a bit last night. Don't have anything but a barbers hone yet, but I decided to try them out anyway. The boker needs to be a bit sharper and it feels as light as paper. It was sharp enough to shave but pulled quite a bit and I don't know if its the weight or sharpness. Guess I'll need to wait on hones to find out...

The Puritan is sweet. It was sharp enough to pop hairs from my arm so I took a few laps on the barbers hone and about 50 laps on a leather strop. It is big and heavy and did shave very nice. I think it was the closest I have had on my neck on first pass (WTG). I did have some trouble going ATG though and think it might be the size as well.

Now to learn how to restore, polish and sharpen.....
