Yankee Cutlery Co. good or bad?
I have an opportunity to purchase a very nice Yankee Cutlery Co. str8 as my second razor.
Can anyone tell me if they are good razors or not? They are not listed on the buy or don't buy list and I can't seem to find a whole lot of info on them.
Thank you!

Thanked: 3795Buy.
I cannot remember specifics about the brand, but I do recall that they were perfectly good shavers!

If you got it from Cedarfurnitureman you can be assured that it is a fine razor.

Sorry it's taken a while for this update.
I could not be happier with the seller, cedarfurnitureman, nor with the shave I got from the razor. As far as I'm concerned his customer service and quality are as old fashioned as the antique/vintage razors he sells. His customer service is the best I've ever experienced. I will continue to buy razors from him and probably only him when it comes to the Bay. Now I just need to win the lottery!
One thing I've learned even as somewhat of a beginner is that I love the square/spike point. No problems what so ever shaving with it for this guy.
