Default How old is this one?

I just picked this J Rodgers up for my first reseration and I was hoping one of the experts on here could give a time frame of when this may have been made. Its in good shape and I may just polish the blade up and use the original scales as they are in great shape.
    Thanks for your help

I'd be curious to know as well, as I have a similarly sized Rodgers, but with a square tip

As I can see on the picture, the blade is hollow ground.
Such blades were made since about 1870.
The phrase "Cutlers to Their Majesties" was used prior to 1877.
So, the razor was made about 1870-1877.

That is a fine blade you have there, Tex! Don't be going ham-fisted on it! GREAT FIND!

    I rest my case.
