    Default Mannetic Silver Steel

Hey all I see a boker razor on ebay and its says Magnetic Silver Steel on it and dont have an idea what that is. Is the blade magnitized or is it just a name and are the any good. Im trying to get a few more razors and also trying not to get taken in the process.
    Thanks Glenn

    Yes, the blade is magnetized.

If you have enough iron in your diet, you can simply wave the blade above your face and the magnetic field of the blade will pull your whiskers out without ever touching your face.

    OR

It was just a bit of unfounded hype that a few razor manufacturers used to try to make their razors stand out from the crowd.

Boker's are great and I have one of these blades. I did try to increase my iron level but it just wouldn't pull the wiskers out by it self. So I got it honed and it shaves very nicely.

Oh, and FYI, in my opinion you cannot go wrong with a Boker. It's one of those brands who seem to have never made an average razor.

It seems alot of the people here have a high opinion of the Bokers and thats what I would like to get for my next razor. I have seen them on ebay and will try but get sniped alot but oh well. I just dont want to pay to much so Im trying to learn what they are worth in fairly good shape. I saw gssixgun hone one on his video so I figured it must be good so I will keep looking. Thanks again for the great reply to my magnetic question I start laughing just thinking about waving that thing over my face for a great shave.

There are way better ways than a bucket-o-nailis to get that iron, kobe steak rare gets a whole bunch of hemoglobin with all the iron and what not. Or liver, or just use that razor to cleanly slice an artery and feast like a vampire bat

So many ways to get that great shave and I thought of nails. Love the steak idea but I will try and pass on the intentional blood letting but being a new guy thats a posibility even if Im not trying.
