Default Do You Collect Razor Boxes?

Here's a question I've been meaning to throw out there for a while. Some time ago, a friend gave me a handful of razor boxes. Only a few boxes were for razors I owned and I decided to honor my RAD and pick up razors that went with those boxes. Gradually, I've been getting them and I only have two razors left to buy in order have all the boxes filled (a King Cutter and a Shumate - neither is rare but my disposable funds are). I also have a few razors I've never seen a box for (Revisor, Vadapesco, Kirk). So, do you keep your boxes or do you consider them just the packaging the razor came in?

I most certainly keep all my boxes. There are people out there who collect them exclusively. Oh, and I have a vintage revisor box.

I keep them as well. Too bad most rescales don't consider the original case rendering them useless.

Got a mess of them. I don't keep razors in them unless they are vintage mint razors. I have a few of those that remain untouched. The rest of the boxes are just in the closet piled up.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I have many, bagged by maker names. They take up a good piece of closet space. Some are very nice old double razor Sheffield coffins.

today at one of our local antique malls I saw a beat up box that said 'damascus' for $50. It was behind a lock, so i asked the clerk is she knew if there was a razor in it. she said no ...... . .

I think this was a case of somebody loving it too much to sell... I mean would any of you even come close to considering $50 for it -- it really is beat up too, lol
