Thanked: 13245Koch & Schafer "Kama" #23 Managnese
So finally after about 3 years and maybe 7 of these razors I snagged one that I wanted..
Kama razors have some of the smoothest edges out there, but every single one I had found in the past was a Round Point, and I have just never been a huge fan of Round Point razors... So I was on this cycle of buying one shaving it for about one week then selling it and moving on...
Well this one popped up on E-bay and she looked pretty minty in the pics, and had that super sharp Spike point I love so much... The E-bay seller had a BIN or Best Offer.. Heck even the BIN was a fair price. but he and I came to an agreement on an offer price, and the razor showed up today...
I knew she looked good, but when I opened the box I was smiling from ear to ear as even the tiny little marks I was worried about in the E-bay pics were just dirt, and she shined right up to a full 6/8+ of perfect mirrored steel, with just a little Flitz... There is no visable hone wear on the spine, so I am thinking perhaps this one is still on the Factory bevel.. BTW yes the tang is Blued and the top of the spine is too, it is not just the pic
I still need to hone it up, but I would imagine that the Manganese steel is just as smooth as every other Kama I have shaved with... Can't wait for tomorrow morning, A new razor, and a new Bay Rum Splash (St Lucia) from SRD tonight Oh Yeah Baby going to be a great shave in the morning...
OK the pics and then I can hear a set of Shaptons calling to this razor...

Wow, you've been playing with fire, had I been on ebay and seen it it'd been snagged right under your cheapskate negotiating nose
