Just found a Simmons Hdwre Co. England on one side of the tang and an arrow on the other side facing away from the scales. The blade itself is stamped English Standard Hollow Ground. Man this ones heavy for its size. Just wanted an idea on a date and do you guy think these are replacement scales????? Thanks to all for looking........

Just a guess on my part, but it could be an early Simmons razor. I have two that are both marked as being made in Germany.
I strop my razor with my eyes closed.

Simmons a St. Louis firm was basically a mail order hardware company. They did produce razors in St louis as well as have them manufactured elsewhere, especially Germany. Looks somewhat like a Wade and Butcher arrow on that one. The scales are common and used my many razor manufacturers.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
