    Default Faux Frameback Any Info?

Enclosed photos (as poor quality as they are) show a razor I recently acquired. It is a true faux frameback spine to edge measuring nearly 6/8. Etch on blade reads Le Magnetique, and stamped on tang is "Charrentier" in script and S. Malo in block underneath.

Does anyone have any knowledge of the manufacturer or any other information about this piece?

    Thanks,

    Jascas

I dont know anything about yours but thus far I have not met a frameback that I have not liked!

I'd guess that it was sold by a cutlers named Charrentier based in St. Malo in Britanny, it's a guess though. I have a blade similar to that (though the tail is shorter and it lacks that lovely notch) and, for what it's worth, it's one of my favourites.
